These five Gregorian chants celebrate the central mystery of Easter: Christ’s Resurrection and victory over death. Among them is Victimae paschali laudes, the ancient Easter sequence proclaiming the risen Christ and inviting Christians to rejoice in the triumph of life over death.

These are the four traditional seasonal Marian antiphons of the Church. Their appearance together has particular meaning for the current ShrineTower Marian series: Alma Redemptoris Mater is featured in December, Ave Regina Caelorum in February and Regina Caeli in April.
